Reminder

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “By Allah, I am not afraid that you will be poor, but I fear that worldly wealth will be bestowed upon you as it was bestowed upon those who lived before you. So you will compete amongst yourselves for it, as they competed for it, and it will destroy you as it did them." [Bukhari]

Love Story Part 1 (Meaning)

Narrated By 'Abdullah bin Umar : Allah's Apostle (pbuh) said, "A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection." [Bukhari Book 43 No. 622]

Salam. In this life with vast differences between the people, even though in the same race, same neighborhood, same school, same workplace, even in the same family, there's still a gap between us. That gap release a fear in our hearts, the fear of losing the riches that Allah gave us, all because the trust of others are thrown away due to our own mistakes. The need to help others, especially with our own blood line in Islam is necessary to build a strong relation between us. This bond is  called the love for Allah. We always say that our priorities are Allah & His Rasul, Muhammad, but why do we put our equal brothers aside including our own parents, as if we're better? For Islam, all man are equal.

Some people think 'love' is just related to two people with opposite genders having strong emotions between them with the desire to complete other desires. What happen to the love in families, as neighbors, in friendship, as a citizen? Wouldn't it consider as love? Instead, we let them suffer while we triumph, let them in poverty while we eat lavishly, let them feel the hot sun rays or the cold night breeze while we just sit easily in our protected houses knowing we're please with ourselves. The inconsiderate of some people maybe noticeable, but if we didn't give a good greeting to the neighbor in around us, not letting out a pray for his health, would that be inconsiderate?

The love story that we all missed out isn't about the beauty of 'romeo & juliet', that is not the gist of the story, but the world & ourselves. Now that's the love story with still no happy ending. For some individuals, the story about their lives, their significant events, series of ups & downs were made with a barrier for others. Sometimes the feeling of sharing was out of discussion that eventually isolated themselves from the gates of their very own hearts. This is a tragedy, with a few dramas in the mix, so let's share. Help others, as Allah will help us, don't see others faults but make use of the reflection from the mirror. Salam.
